TERMS

Terms & Conditions

Candidates must be in possession of an appropriate provisional driving licence in order to
be able to  undertake L.G.V. training.

Insurance

“Traindrive’s” insurance provides third party cover whilst candidates are driving our
vehicles providing they  hold an appropriate driving licence and are accompanied either by
the instructor or the test examiner.

Other activities involved in L.G.V. training can be hazardous and candidates are urged to
exercise extreme  care at all times. We cannot accept any liability, or responsibility, for
personal injury how so ever caused.

“Traindrive” cannot accept any responsibility for any candidate’s possessions or effects
whilst on our premises  or in our vehicles.

Deposits and cancellations

A small deposit is required at the time of booking our courses. We are unable to refund
deposits unless the
candidate’s licence is withdrawn by the Licensing Authority for medical reasons.

Notice of cancellation of a course must be given no less than 14 working days prior to the
commencement date. If notice of cancellation is given within 14 working days of the start
date, we reserve the right to charge the full outstanding balance. We shall however do our
best to reallocate the course dates to another client and
if successful reduce the cancellation fee. Payment of oustanding balances must be made 7
clear working days prior to commencement of training.

If the course has to be cancelled due to unforeseen illness or physical incapacity, we
reserve the right to hold
any relevant moneys paid to us and on receipt of a supporting medical certificate re-book
the course at the  earliest possible date.

Disruption to courses

We make every effort to ensure that courses go ahead as arranged. We cannot, however,
be held responsible for disruptions caused by inclement weather, staff illness or other
absence, unforeseen mechanical breakdown or postponement of test by the Department of
Transport. In the event of such disruption, we will make every effort to ensure that
candidates receive the correct amount of tuition prior to their test.

“Traindrive” reserve the right to curtail the course should the candidate prove to be
unwilling to carry out instructions given, is felt to be a danger to themselves, other road
uses, pedestrians etc, or to “Traindrive’s”
staff. Likewise, any inappropriate behaviour by the candidate shall result in the cessation of
training. No refund will be given in these circumstances.

Department of Transport Tests

“Traindrive” reserves the right to withhold the use of the company’s vehicles and staff for
the test if for any reason it is felt that the candidate has not reached the required standard
to drive safely without instruction.

Please note that as the Driving Standards Agency require 10 working days notice of
cancellation in order to secure a refund, it is unlikely that a refund of the test fee will be
secured as a result of the above.
