Car and Trailer Category B+E

If you took your driving test after 1st January 1997 you will have to take
an additional driving test (licence category B+E) to tow a trailer if it weighs
over 750 KG MAM ( Three quarters of a tonne Maximum Authorised Mass.)
There are a small number of confusing exceptions, but, if you intend to
tow, it is generally recommended that you take the test so as to avoid any
misinterpretation by yourself, the police or your insurers.
Traindrive are one of the few driver training providers that specialise in trailer towing

We provide training for the car and trailer towing test (B+E), caravan manoeuvring and
trailer handling and awareness courses. We also provide motor home handling courses.

Our courses will be tailored to meet the needs of the trainee upon completion of a no
obligation free assessment. Your training can be Carried out in our brand new Nissan
Navara 4x4 with trailer supplied or if you prefer you can use your own vehicle the choice
is yours!
